We are very happy that our effort, after 2+ years of ups and downs, now has an identifiable form. The Odisha Public eLibrary was inaugurated by the Chief Minister of Odisha on this day, August 31st, 2017.
Turns out the Berhampur (Brahmapur) city, the location of our eLibrary, just celebrated its 150th Anniversary.
We, the volunteers and dreamers, are continuing our work to enable the staffing (which is still not completed), management and the library opening to for actual public use, with the continued support of the govt. officials and citizens at various points of time and space.

Dear Darshan & others: The journey has only started. If we can, and hope we will, spread this idea – Odisha will become the top state in India. People’s potential is there but the ideas, rather implementation is poor. We have to run it up to 10 years (and in the process create a viable sustaining model to break the digital divide) and in doing so will need everyone’s helping hand. At least create the demand to take the model to your community back in Odisha. If we are able to do so we will be helping the movement which will create a demand for a movement for information access. Can we do it? Hope is we can. We dream we can. Help of every SEEDS member is needed to move it forward.
