As with any “paradigm-shifting”, novel, highly challenging initiative, we have received various moral supports, donated time, skills, thoughts or physical items from many well-wishers or the few active volunteers to keep us “going” — over a lengthy period of intense work since year 2014. We appreciate your contributions, small or big, and in any form! After all, this is for the public, by the public and of the public. This is an instance of civil society members from North America and the local neighborhood working together and with the local, district and state government officials to pool together resources, skills, thoughts and commitments for a new paradigm, a model project for the community. Not only is the concept novel for Odisha state but also the distributed nature of involvement and collaboration with comparatively very little financial largesse from any source should be inspiring for replicating in other domains and geographical regions.
