1. UPSC Civil Services Examination

Candidate applying for civil service exams is required to fulfill the following criteria:
- He/she must hold a Bachelor’s Degree from any of the recognised universities
- Candidates who have appeared for the qualifying examination and are awaiting results or those who are yet to appear for the qualifying examination are also eligible for the Preliminary Examination.
- Candidates with professional and technical qualifications recognised by the Government or its equivalent are also eligible to apply.
c) Age Limit:
The age of a candidate should be minimum 21 years and maximum 32 years (upper limit relaxation for certain categories).
d) Number of attempts:
The Authority has put restrictions on the maximum number of attempts by a candidate which is generally 6 (some categories have relaxations).
2. RBI Grade B Examination
The Reserve Bank of India is one of the most prestigious government institutes in India and always the top choice of any banking aspirant. This is one of the best job exams after graduation.
Position: RBI Grade B is the entry-level officer position post for management cadre.

Generally, an applicant should have secured at least 60% (50% for certain categories) marks as well in 12th (or Diploma or equivalent) and 10th standard examinations.
c) Age Limit:
- Applicants for RBI Officer Grade B should be in the in the age group of 21-30 years.
- Candidates with an M.Phil degree and Ph.D. qualification have a relaxation of 2 and 4 years in the upper age limit, i.e. the upper age limit for such candidates is 32 and 34 years respectively.
- Candidates possessing experience as an officer in any of the commercial Banks or financial institutions in public sector as also prior experience in Reserve Bank of India, the upper age limit is relaxed to the extent of the number of completed years of such experience subject to a maximum of three years. For such candidates, upper age limit should not exceed 33 years including experience.
d) Number of Attempts:
General candidates have 6 attempts at RBI Officer Grade B exam whereas there is no such restriction on SC/ST/PWD candidates.
3. SBI PO Examination
Much like the IBPS PO exam, the State Bank of India is also a top choice for banking aspirants. Clearing the PO examination is a priority for most entry-level aspirants.

- Candidates must be a graduate in any discipline from a state or central recognized university or possess any other equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government carrying 60% aggregate (for general categories).
- Aspirants who are appearing in the Final year/Semester of their Graduation will also be eligible to apply but solely on the provisional basis.
- Candidates having Integrated Dual Degree (IDD) certificate should ensure that the date of passing the IDD is as per the date decided by the bank.
- Candidates possessing the qualification of Chartered Accountant can also apply.
c) Age Limit:
Applicants should be within the age group of 21 to 30 years as per the date decided by the bank. There is a provision of age relaxation for candidates of certain categories.
d) Number of Attempts:
In general, a candidate may appear in SBI PO exam maximum for 4 times which has certain relaxations for specific categories.
4. IBPS PO Exam
The probationary officer (PO) is considered a lucrative white collar job in India. Conducted by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS), every year, lakhs of aspirants apply for PO examination and only thousands succeed.
Position: A bank probationary officer post is the entry-level position for management cadre
Job Profile: General banking and bank administration, supervision of the clerical works and work towards increasing banks business.

5. IBPS Specialist Officer Exam

- For Junior Associates: Graduation in any discipline from a recognised University or any equivalent qualification recognised as such by the Central Government
- For Junior Agricultural Associates: Graduation in Agriculture or Agriculture allied activities from a Government recognised university/Institute
- Knowledge of official and local language: Candidates have to produce class 10th standard mark sheet/certificate evidencing having studied official (local) language will not be subjected to any Language test. In case of others, language test will be conducted before final selection. Candidates not found to be proficient in official and local language would be disqualified
- Candidates should be able to write and speak English
- Candidates who are in the final Semester/ year of Graduation may also apply for SBI Clerk. But they will have to produce proof of having passed the Graduation Examination at the time of document verification for joining
- Candidates having integrated dual degree (IDD) certificate should ensure that the date of passing the IDD as per the prescribed dates
- Candidates should be able to write and speak English
Note:
- The date of passing eligibility examination will be the date appearing on the mark sheet or provisional certificate issued by the University / Institute
- In case the result of a particular examination is posted on the website of the University / Institute, a certificate issued by the appropriate authority of the University / Institute indicating the date on which the result was posted on the website will be taken as the date of passing
